Saturday morning at Miller Park, 8:30 AM. Very little to be had, but still a morning out.
After having a good few days of fishing, Mom and I (oh, I didn’t mention that Mom came up with me??? ) then we tracked across the state to visit relatives. Saw aunts, uncles, cousins on both sides, and then Mom went to visit someone — and I can’t remember who! But she dropped me off at Pine Lake, just outside town.
Only caught one tiny little fish there, but it was still fishing right outside my hometown.
It was a pretty day to be out at Pine Lake.
Even though the only fish I got was teeny-tiny.
There was still nature, though. Can you spot the camouflaged critter?
Not really sure, but I think this may be Tipton Park. Tipton did get as weedy as this picture looks, anyway. It was Saturday evening at 7:50 PM. Chris got a good one out, anyway!
Every bit as impressive as it looks!
A week later, and not much happening at Heartland, but a little bit. I deleted a second photo in this series because it was a minute later. Now that I think about it, I think I may have caught two back-to-back. But anyway, here’s a photo of one caught at 11:47 AM.
Not much, but not skunked…
